smiling all the way home from the post office :)

IT CAME!!!! MY NAKED2 PALLET CAME!! and it is B.E.A.UTIFUL! you have NO IDEA how excited I am about this! AHHH! In fact..I have been waiting a while for this bugger to get here.. and then I got this little note in the mailbox that said I wasn't there to sign for it so I had to go get it from the post office.  Red lights have never taken so long! I was so excited to see this beauty!!! I walked so fast into the post office and when I had it in my hand I was so smily. (people prolly thought I had drugs shipped or something:/   Look how Pretty!!!

The Garden is Planted! and Thanks to David (my Brother in law) for supplying A FULL garden of plants to our ugly garden. It is now pretty!

ALSO>>I am led to believe I am feeling the baby...quite often. so often I should probably be worried about about my kid being a Cristiano Ronaldo I thought it would be this exciting " HOLY GOBSTOPPERS I CAN FEEL THE BABY MOVE!!" but no. its like "oh? that might be it...maybe?" but it has become consistent and sometimes the munchkin will move to the front of my belly and it will be all hard for a while until i poke it long enough it goes back :) haha.

?? --is it bad to habitually drum on your belly? how loud is it in there? But i need to raise a little drummer like his/her daddy.  (then again maybe the daddy should be the one drumming in that case...if I set the standards, this kid wont know a beat from a handsaw.

NEWS!!

THIS IS SO EXCITING!!! The other day I called my Sister Cara (She always has the answer to my strange questions) and found out that I was feeling the baby hiccup! then I felt a roll, and its little head or butt stick out a little! Also..when i woke up in the morning.. i noticed my tummy would NOT lay flat no matter how much I sucked it in. ITS GROWING!

Also.. for any ladys wondering about the BEST FACEWASH EVER! check in in a few weeks!

Here was dinner the other day (stir fry)... I'm pretty sure the dinner making phase of my life is coming to an end ;) getting tired.. I just want some RESTAURANT FOOD!

soup, meat, and a hectic pie

Sorry It has been a while! What an "off" week. Thursday morning woke up SICK...YUCK! Luckily i only had 2 appointments in the afternoon so I had some time to rest.  Stayed home with a flu type thing Friday and Saturday. feeling much better now! Just at the tail end of a cold I think...or another ^stuffy nose^ symptom -.-

While I was sick I had a hickering  for french onion soup. Not just any french onion soup. We have the- in a can- kind. But no no..I wanted to make it from scratch. (worth is if you are OK spending more money on fancy CHEESE than you would a shirt. ) P.S. it also is SO smelly that when you are sick.. you will completely not even want it anymore when you have a bowl in front of you! what a waste :( sad day.

Well, Saturday I at Least had enough energy to throw some food items into a giant warm bowl that you plug into the wall. This bowl is AMAZING! I think it is my new love. its name? A CROCK-POT! Meat...in Beer.. I really am not a fan of beer, but when it mixes with meaty juices, and salty garlicky spices..mmmm...that drink I would never consider drinking, quenches my thirst more than water. I'm talking the JUICIEST, fall off the fork roast ever! YUMM! (and its JUST as good left over when you store it in the juice in the fridge... it might be even better)

 

I have been promising my hubby an apple pie, and thought I should just make two while im at it for Grandmas Sunday birthday lunch. Now, normally blogs are all about this perfect person who gets to hide behind their perfect pictures and their pretty lives..(haha sounds nice huh) but I can't lie. I burned the pies :(  I forgot to turn the oven down to a lower temp after 15 minutes and when I set the dumb timer I forgot to hit START.  Why doesn't it just start automatically when you set it!! UGH!! DUMB. In the meantime, I watched some TV and rested and when I remembered the pies, I ran into the kitchen like I was was a parent jumping in the water after their drowning child or something. To my relief the pies were somewhat OK.. ish.. I took them out of the oven and when I turned around, there was a wrapper on the floor that used to be around the french bread  (from the french onion soup)  I left on the window seat. It had been found by these animals we willingly let live in our house. Making a mess, taking your favorite spot on the couch and eating your french loaf. How rude. I had a moment. Bob tried to make it all better. He said the pies would be fine and they were great after the microwave softened them up a little. So...all was well.

 

(and yes.. that pie dish has pi all around the edge and the symbol on the bottom haha. Bobs parents got it for him as a housewarming gift when he moved in to 314) Presh.

An update from my little tummy, to your gawking eyes

Now... I really don't make a lot of food.. so its funny that that makes up half of my posts haha.. LETS TALK ABOUT THE BABY!!! OK!

15 weeks along and I am darn sure I can feel that thing moving around at times. It's the kind of moving that occasionally I really think i could watch my belly move. Sometimes I will feel a weird pressure towards the front of my tummy and feel it and there is a little hard lump or rump (lol I'm not really funny but hey at least I can laugh at myself) and I will poke at it for a while ad then it disappears! like its alive or something and doesn't like me poking at it! *surprise surprise*

My nose is stuffing up like crazy! allergies? Or the period in my pregnancy..not sure but how do i get rid of it!? Anyone? Ideas? ( the docs don't seem to like it when you take random pills to help a symptom like this I guess..hmm)

I guess I should add Pictures of the little munchkin growing inside me that will someday steal my heart.

Zucchini Tortelini

HELLO again :) (mom...since you are like the only one who reads these hahaha)
Today when i got home from another looong day at work, it was time to attempt another dinner. tonight's menu- roasted zucchini and tomatoes in tortellini.

 here are the vegetables a cookin:

 Added with the pasta and....some extra cheese (didn't help bobs weight watcher points :P)

 It turned out pretty yummy.. only problem is that I am at a point where I can only handle so much of something before it starts to taste like mush..no matter what it is. UNLESS it is an APPLE! those things are DELICIOUS right now! I bet could eat 5 right now! Brycen thinks its pretty neat that the baby wants fruits and vegetables now and no longer wishes me to eat steak at 5 in the morning. he says "that baby is going to be a picky eater"  (oh boy I hope not)

Well.. off to bed because this lady has to work AGAIN tomorrow... is it?....Sunday yet?

Stir-fry and Blueberry Pie

Since Bob started BSF (a Bible study held at the church across from ours) last night I had some time in the house alone...naturally, I clean. But to my amazement as I look around when I step in the door, the house is STILL CLEAN from Saturday! I was shocked! So shocked I became hungry, and developed a hunger for stir-fry...and Pie. (I realize that could be the pregnancy hunger talking) I began to scrummage up the healthier things around the house and broccoli went into the wok. The first time the smell of it didn't end in a bolting rush into the bathroom. I added shrimp [the appropriate amount for a pregnant lady] to saute in fresh garlic and ginger, and this stir-fry bottle mix- that is delectable by the way-did a little shake shake above my creation.(for those wondering, I think its just called "stir-fry sauce"...simple enough )  And out of the wok came this yummy dish! LOOK HOW PRETTY!

 I was so proud of myself...seeing as this is the first time I have really MADE dinner (so what if its 9:00 at night) since we got married. [whoopsie] Then Guilt struck and I decided since I have been such an awful wife I owe my husband something he loves...so much. Something he asks for constantly and I proceed to roll my eyes and say "maybe later". What an terrible wife I have been. It was time to finally give him what he wanted.


And this Blueberry Pie was born!

When Bob walked in the door It didn't take long before he got a piece. He didnt even want to wait for things to cool down a little.

I know I did the right thing. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy last night ;)

P.S. PLUS!! I got to have an excuse to wear this ADORABLE apron my sister in laws mother made me. Isn't it darling??

My Buddy's first day of preschool!

It was my little buddy's first day of preschool today! Even though I am not his mother, I am still proud of this little guy, and wanted to take his picture ;) this is the smile he gave me :) hHahaha!

DUN DUN In the Beginning.....

Hi Everybody! I know I haven't *ehem* done the best at this blog thing so far, but I'm going to give it one more shot. One fresh blog, About ANYTHING! YAY!!! I wont be limited to photography or housework... I can do BOTH! Hahaha and anything else I might feel obligated to write, or post, or video, or take pictures of,  WHATEVER!! My Hair & Make-up tricks, seeing silly pictures of my Dogs, How I Organize my house, Meals I decide to make (BAHAHAHA) how my pregnancy is going, or how to train your husband. hahaha!  I have so many ideas and maybe I just wont tell anyone I'm even doing this until I get the hang of it!
